Surgery this morning

Bradley and his parents traveled to St. Jude's in Memphis late last week. This morning, Bradley is in surgery to remove the re-developed tumor. Please keep him and his family in your prayers today. Updates will be provided here and on Bradley's care pages site. You can visit that site by going to www.carepages.com, signing up for an account and then searing for BradleyAllen2. There is also a link to his carepages site at the top of this page. Bradley is currently in surgery and Chris and Angie are waiting for their first update.

May God hold them all in the palm of his hand and be present in the room guiding the doctors skilled hands to get all of the tumor. Please say some prayers for all of them this morning.

Prayers needed!!

Today is a very sad day. After a year of being cancer free, today, the day after Bradley turned 4, the Allen family's worst fears came true. Bradley's cancer has returned.
On his Carepages site, Bradley's mom writes "Chris took Bradley to the doctor today as he hasn't been himself the past couple of days. They wanted to do an immediate MRI so I left work and went to the hospital. Dr. Woods, his chemo doctor here who we love, stayed to read the MRI and knew and told us the cancer is back only 1/2 way thru the MRI. It's in his spine and right below where it was the last time. More than likely it's from the previous tumor and the cells just went downwards and in less than 8 weeks has grown almost 2 inches."

Please, please keep Bradley and the Allen family in your thoughts and prayers. Visit Bradley's carepage here http://www.carepages.com/carepages/BradleyAllen2/updates/3168515 or by clicking the "Visit Bradley's Care Page" link above.

WHO-TV had a story about Bradley tonight. Here is a link to the article and I will post video if it makes it online: http://www.whotv.com/news/who-story-bradley-allen-cancer-20111108,0,5854609.story

Great news!

The Allen family received wonderful news today! NO TUMOR HAS GROWN BACK!! The spot they saw on the last MRI is no longer there! There is one other area they want to watch but they don't believe it to be cancerous at this time!

Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Prayers needed this week

The week is here that the Allen's will know what is going on with the spot on Bradley's last MRI. We ask that you join us in praying that it is just a spot from radiation, however, this MRI will be done at St. Judes. The Allen's will be meeting with a team of the top doctor's in the world there as a precaution and to get to know them, in the chance that they will be needed. We pray they are not!!

Please join me in praying that the Allen family receives good news this week from the team at St. Jude!!

Merry Christmas

Hope you all are ready for the holidays and can spend them with your loved ones. I am very much looking forward to being home for Christmas with my WHOLE family. Bradley has been doing very well. He seems to be making gains every day. He has his first MRI the week after Christmas to find out if the tumor and cancer are truly gone as we pray that they are. He has come so far and beat so many odds that We believe that he will be triumphant and live a long and prosperous life. For now we are just focusing on the holidays and very thankful that we will all be together. We are very grateful to all of the people out there that in some way have helped us in time of need in the previous months. If not for your donations we would not have been able to get him all the care he needed and still be able to take care of the other kids and keep our home. We can never thank you enough, but I will try...Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please enjoy your family's and lets look forward to a great New Year, god bless you all!
