Surgery update

From Bradley's dad Chris:
"Just got done talking with Dr. Boop in the consultation room. He got all the tumor!!!They are sewing Bradley up as we speak and they don't forsee any reason why he can't come back to his room. Dr. expects him to make a full recovery. He may expierence some paralysis, but Dr. Boop said he did not damage any nerves so Bradley should come out of it, if he expierences any at all. Thank you, thank you, thank you for praying for our little Bradley. He has once again proven, with the Lord's magic, your prayers and Bradley's toughness that he is one of God's miracles....never lose faith :-)"

Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated!!

Surgery this morning

Bradley and his parents traveled to St. Jude's in Memphis late last week. This morning, Bradley is in surgery to remove the re-developed tumor. Please keep him and his family in your prayers today. Updates will be provided here and on Bradley's care pages site. You can visit that site by going to www.carepages.com, signing up for an account and then searing for BradleyAllen2. There is also a link to his carepages site at the top of this page. Bradley is currently in surgery and Chris and Angie are waiting for their first update.

May God hold them all in the palm of his hand and be present in the room guiding the doctors skilled hands to get all of the tumor. Please say some prayers for all of them this morning.

Prayers needed!!

Today is a very sad day. After a year of being cancer free, today, the day after Bradley turned 4, the Allen family's worst fears came true. Bradley's cancer has returned.
On his Carepages site, Bradley's mom writes "Chris took Bradley to the doctor today as he hasn't been himself the past couple of days. They wanted to do an immediate MRI so I left work and went to the hospital. Dr. Woods, his chemo doctor here who we love, stayed to read the MRI and knew and told us the cancer is back only 1/2 way thru the MRI. It's in his spine and right below where it was the last time. More than likely it's from the previous tumor and the cells just went downwards and in less than 8 weeks has grown almost 2 inches."

Please, please keep Bradley and the Allen family in your thoughts and prayers. Visit Bradley's carepage here http://www.carepages.com/carepages/BradleyAllen2/updates/3168515 or by clicking the "Visit Bradley's Care Page" link above.

WHO-TV had a story about Bradley tonight. Here is a link to the article and I will post video if it makes it online: http://www.whotv.com/news/who-story-bradley-allen-cancer-20111108,0,5854609.story
